How do I know if my looseleaf book is up to date?

To check whether your book is up to date, please see the Filing Details page, where you can access filing instructions for each of CEB's looseleaf titles. The filing instructions include the date of the most recent update as well as a list of several prior updates.

If your book's most recent update required interleafing, you'll also see a Page List, which provides a list of the book's pages and the update dates that should appear on those pages.

How do I request permission to reprint or reuse CEB copyrighted material?

You can submit a request online or via email at Please review our guidelines and/or submit an online request at Request for Permission to Reprint.

Can I use CEB Forms CDs on my Macintosh computer?

Yes, you can although Macintosh is not a supported platform.

A complete set of forms is located on the CD in the folder called Word. These read-only files can be manually copied to a hard drive and opened without using PC emulation software. Uncheck the read-only attribute found on file properties prior to editing the file.

Is there an easy way to combine clauses to create complete documents?

If you want to combine individual clauses into a single document, you must use the cut/copy and paste feature in your word processor.

However, in many CEB Forms CD titles, we have already combined multiple clauses that make up a single form or document into a single file. In these documents, the file name is taken from the first section of the form. For example, file 05-020 might contain a string of clauses from §§5.20-5.68. Another place to find complete sample forms and documents is in the Appendixes.

To see if your title contains files with multiple clauses or complete sample forms in the Appendixes, see the file named "CONTENT."

Does my Forms CD contain Judicial Council forms or other agency forms?

No. Forms CDs contain only the CEB attorney-drafted forms, checklists, and questionnaires from the text. Judicial Council forms and forms from other third-party organizations are included in the book for illustrative purposes only.
