JEFFREY G. HURON

JEFFREY G. HURON, of the Huron Law Group, Inc. in Los Angeles, is a trial attorney with twenty-five years of experience litigating and arbitrating business, real estate, and entertainment disputes. Mr. Huron has tried and won several multi-million dollar high-stake disputes. During his career, he has authored several published law-related articles. The United States Supreme Court cited Mr. Huron's article regarding antitrust remedies in a published decision. For the past four years, Law & Politics has recognized Mr. Huron as a Super Lawyer in Business Litigation. Mr. Huron received his B.A. from Marquette University and his J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where he was note editor of the Pacific Law Journal.

MICHAEL R. DILIBERTO

MICHAEL R. DILIBERTO

MICHAEL R. DILIBERTO is a full-time mediator who has settled over 1000 cases in the areas of employment, real estate, business, intellectual property and personal injury. He was appointed Administrative Law Judge pro tem for the Office of Administrative Hearings, to preside over hearings involving various agencies of the State of California. He also serves as a Hearing Examiner for the Los Angeles Police Commission, and Hearing Officer for the City of Los Angeles, City of Santa Monica, City of Long Beach, and the Orange County Employees Retirement System.

He serves as an arbitrator for the Independent Film & Television Alliance and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. As an international speaker, consultant and trainer, he has taught mediation skills to judges and lawyers from Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America. He traveled to Macedonia under the auspices of the U.S. State Department to train judges and lawyers on mediation techniques, and consulted with Macedonian government agencies to increase the use of mediation in their judicial system. He also traveled to Ecuador to train judges and lawyers on mediation skills. Michael will serve as an adjunct professor to teach negotiation at Loyola Law School beginning January 2014. His monthly articles on negotiation strategy can be found on his website at www.SuperMediator.com.

Michael received Advanced Mediation Certificates from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law, and his J.D. at the University of Miami School of Law. In his spare time, Michael plays drums in a nine-piece classic rock band, and with the Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic, performing at various venues, including Walt Disney Concert Hall.
