R. TYLER ATKINSON

R. TYLER ATKINSON, McMANIS FAULKNER, San Jose, is a partner at the firm who represents plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of civil cases and complex disputes. His clients range from individuals and closely held businesses to Fortune 500 companies. Tyler frequently assists in crisis management, and counseling corporate and executive clients in sensitive matters that require careful handling. He has experience in a variety of media, publicity, internet, privacy, and Free Speech matters. In the past he successfully represented victims and defendants in criminal cases. Tyler is a Professor of Remedies at Lincoln Law School of San Jose. He is currently the Chair of the county bar’s Civil Practice Committee. He is also the managing attorney for the Legal Counseling Office at Stanford University. Tyler writes extensively on a variety of legal topics. He has been named a Northern California Super Lawyers Rising Star (2013 – 2016). He received his J.D., from the University of Notre Dame Law School.
