RON S. BRAND

RON S. BRAND is a Shareholder at Jackson Tidus in Orange County. His practice focuses on representing employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including defense against Federal and State-based wrongful termination, retaliation, harassment, discrimination, wage and hour, whistleblower, defamation, breach of contract, and fraudulent inducement. Ron drafts and provides advice regarding employment, compensation, severance, confidentiality/non-disclosure, and non-solicitation/non-competition agreements. He also provides preventive advice to clients on a wide variety of human resources and personnel issues, including hiring, employee compensation and benefits, employee discipline and training, leaves of absence, harassment and workplace violence investigations, termination, and the development of policies and procedures designed to avoid employment claims and litigation. Ron conducts in-house management seminars and training sessions on all aspects of labor and employment law, including anti-harassment prevention training required by California law. He is a frequent lecturer on employment law related issues. Ron is a “AV Preeminent” rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbard. He is a graduate of University of California, Irvine, and DePaul University College of Law. Ron currently serves as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Labor and Employment Section of the Orange County Bar Association.
